Poised is shutting down. Here’s an honest alternative.

Poised has announced it will shut down on October 8, 2026. If you used it to catch fillers and hedging in meetings, here is what SpeakWings does, what it doesn’t, and how to tell if it fits.

What Poised did

Poised gave you feedback inside your online meetings, while you talked: filler words, hedging, how concise you were, and interruptions. For a lot of people it was a quiet, useful nudge, and losing it is a real gap.

    You rehearse the meeting, the update or the pushback out loud before it happens, with someone who reacts. Then you walk in with your first line ready.

    Measured on your device

    How you sound (pace, pauses, pitch, loudness) is computed in your browser. We never store your recordings.

    Every rehearsal partner has a worry they won’t say out loud. You practise asking until you find it.

What SpeakWings does not do

Worth knowing before you switch.

It doesn’t join your calls, and it doesn’t give feedback during a live meeting. There is no overlay and no bot in the room. If in-meeting nudges were the part you relied on, SpeakWings won’t replace that part.

Is my voice recorded?

We never store your recordings. How you sound is measured on your device. In rehearsals, the audio is transcribed by your browser’s speech service or by our transcription provider, which deletes it after transcribing and never trains on it, and your words go to our AI provider to play the other person. We keep your scores and short summaries, not your voice. Privacy policy.

Can I bring my Poised history with me?

No. We have no access to it and no import. Take the free scan instead: it becomes your new starting line, and your first checkpoint replays it.

Does it work with Zoom, Teams or Google Meet?

It doesn’t connect to them. SpeakWings runs in your web browser. You practise before the meeting, then join it the way you always do.
