Get your point heard the first time, even when everyone talks fast.

Rehearse the meeting moments that go wrong: getting talked over, the tangent that eats the hour, the decision nobody owns. Say it out loud to a room with its own agenda, and hear how you come across.

Start with how you sound: one question, 60 seconds. Then rehearse the conversation itself.

Rehearsal brief

Out loud · live

With the senior partner at your architecture firm, Graham

“Sorry, just to finish my point”

It’s the design review for a $14 million public library, with five people in the room. Twice you’ve started to raise a problem with the fire exits on the second floor, and twice Graham has finished your sentence for you and moved on.

Your goal: Say the fire-exit problem in full, without being cut off, and get it on the action list with an owner.

Their real worry

Hidden. Ask the right questions and they’ll tell you. Miss it, and you can rewind.

WHAT THEY SAY

“Let’s take that offline.”

WHAT THEY MEAN

Not in front of everyone.

Rehearse until you can hear it, then answer that.

Every meeting has a moment like this

  • The room was full of fast talkers. You had the point and never found a gap.
  • You finally spoke, said “sorry, just to add”, and trailed off.
  • The status meeting drifted onto the label printers for twenty minutes.
  • Everyone agreed to “take it away and think”, and nothing happened.

Your 30 days: Own the meeting

“I get heard in any meeting, keep it on track when it drifts, bring the right voices in, and leave with a decision someone owns.”

About 15 minutes a day. Each week ends by replaying day 1, so you hear what changed.

  1. WEEK 1 · DAYS 1–7

    Be heard

Get your point into the room: speak early, lead with the headline, and keep the floor when someone talks over you.

  2. WEEK 2 · DAYS 8–14

    Steer the room

Say what the meeting is for, park the tangents, and change the lens when the room gets stuck.

  3. WEEK 3 · DAYS 15–21

    Bring people in

Draw out the quiet expert, name the tension in the room, and handle open disagreement without losing anyone.

  4. WEEK 4 · DAYS 22–30

    Land the decision

Run the whole meeting and leave every one with a decision, an owner and a date.

Two more you’ll rehearse

Each person has a reason for pushing back that they won’t say out loud. Find it and the conversation turns.
  1. “Before we move on, the label printers…”

Get a derailed status meeting back on track. With the hospital’s director of pharmacy, Olusegun.

Their real worry: you’ll have to find it.

  2. “Let’s all take it away and think”

A decision meeting where nobody owns the decision. With the product director who called the meeting, Ines.

Their real worry: you’ll have to find it.

Questions

Is my voice recorded?

We never store your recordings. How you sound (pace, pauses, pitch, loudness) is measured on your device. In rehearsals, your words are transcribed and sent to our AI provider to play the other person. We keep your scores and short summaries, not your voice.

Does it join my video calls?

No. SpeakWings is for practice before the meeting. It doesn’t sit inside your calls or give feedback while you’re in one.

I get nervous speaking up. Will this help?

Practice is how it gets easier. Week 1 is about speaking early, leading with the headline and keeping the floor, one small step at a time, with nobody watching.

Start with 60 seconds.

One question out loud. Your pace, your ums, how fast you start.
