Why I built it

I used to believe good work would speak for itself. I worked long hours, went past what the job asked, and read hundreds of books. It did not get me promoted, and I bombed interviews I was qualified for.

What I eventually saw was that the people who moved up could say their ideas clearly under pressure: in a meeting, in a hard conversation, in an interview. That was my experience, and I am still learning it.

I am an introvert and an analytical person, so it did not come naturally. I did not want to pay thousands for a course or wait weeks for feedback. I had taken courses before, and I knew improvement comes from practice. So I built a place to practice out loud and hear right away what I sounded like.

I built it for myself first. I cannot promise it will get you a job or a raise, and I do not have results to show yet. I am starting a 30-day run of my own and will publish the numbers here, whatever they show.

What we believe

Words are cheap now. A script, an email, an outline for a talk: any tool can write one in seconds.

What is still scarce is a person who can say the hard thing out loud, to another person, and be believed. The price. The no. The bad news. The question from the room.

In that moment, how you sound is the proof. Steady on the number. Calm under the pushback. Clear when it is hard. Nobody can do that part for you.

What that means for how we build

You practice out loud, with a partner who pushes back the way the real person would.

We measure how you sound: your pace, your pauses, how your sentences end, your filler words. The measuring happens on your device. We never store your recordings.

You say the same answer before and after, and we measure it the same way both times. You hear the change. You do not get a flattering score.

What we will not promise

We do not promise a job, a raise, a promotion or a deal. Too much is outside your voice. We promise a clearer, steadier version of you, measured.

You can have your first payment back within 7 days, for any reason. And if six practice sessions on four different days in your first 30 days show no real improvement on your own benchmark, you get your first payment back too. The exact terms are on the terms and refunds page.
